How to Begin the Miracle Diet
Look at yourself in a full length mirror. Face forward. Then turn and look at your full length profile. With the additional help of a hand mirror, get a full length rear view. Stay there and look one, two, three minutes or longer, until you build up a compelling conviction that "it's time for a change". Resolve that you will treat this only body you have with love and concern that you will eat less for mental satisfaction and more for bodily need.
When I tell a man or woman who has come to me to help them lose weight that the hardest thing they are going to have to learn to do is double up on their meals, you can imagine the look I get.Yet, it's true.
We are all creatures of habit and if we are accustomed to three square meals a day, it is going to be an uphill fight to stick conscientiously to a six-meal regime.
A skipped meal in this diet is likely to mean weight gain, not weight loss. Because when you miss a meal, you are going to be hungrier when the next meal arrives and you will eat more; more than the body needs and it may be stored as fat.
We want to put the body's fat-making machinery into storage, not the fat. We want to feed our body at the rate our body needs food, slower, if anything, not faster so the fat-making can stop, and the fat-breaking begin.
