5. Do not skip meals; 4 to 5 hours between meals is ideal for the body, more than that, the body goes into starvation mode.

6. Do not go below your required 1200 calories diet per day. This amount of calories is just enough to sustain your basal metabolic rate. You do not want to go lower than this. Otherwise, your metabolism may slow down.

7. Do not drink alcohol; it upsets your metabolism.

These are just some of the good things you could do to help increase your metabolic rate.
